From operations manager to cloud consultant — the business side never left.

Tarek's path into IT consulting started on the other side of the desk: four and a half years as an operations manager, plus marketing and web development work, before moving into IT advisory at utilitas and then aixpedIT in Aachen. That history is the differentiator — he specifies systems the way someone who has had to run a business with them would.

At aixpedIT he works as Senior Consultant on cloud and Microsoft 365 projects for regional companies, and since 2025 as a certified Ausbilder training apprentices. Business development sits alongside the delivery work: scoping the project, explaining the trade-offs in language a managing director understands, then building it.
